A New Creation
Those of us who are born; being a new creation, have a new spirit. That Spirit is our true self now. Although we live in a temporal body, we need the Seed in us to grow and be around a supply of living water and daily bread to renew our mind to our true heavenly identity and authority. In other words, we need the Spirit and the Word, to see who we truly are. Since the Spirit and the Word is within us, a focus of what’s inside, by meditation and studying of the Word and how to plant and water Seed in others, will produce more seeds for the sower.(doer) 2 Cor 9:6
We start off with the inheritance of God indwelling in us and giving great promises (Mark 11:24, John 14:13-14, John 15:7, 2 Cor 1:20) for the partaking of His divine nature (2 Pet 1:4) and glorifying of the Father’s name (John 15:8). We spend the rest of our life finding out what we have. We have become God’s hands and feet as the body of Christ with the authority (exousia) of Adam AND ALSO the ability (dunamis) of our indwelling Spirit, who was given the right of access to us, from the victory of Jesus (John 16:7; Col 2:15).
John 14:13-14 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 15:7 If you abide in Me and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
2 Peter 1:4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
John 15:8 by this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
John 16:7 …it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Col 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Even though we are heirs, we began as children; no different than hired servants (Gal 4:1). Our true spirit can be seen in the realm of heaven. We have more glory than Moses did when his face shone to the children of Israel. (2 Cor 3:7-11).
Demons can recognize this authority and will try us to estimate our “sword handling techniques.” In some ways, we are like children with guns that are provided to get rid of enemy wolves and predators in our territory. (Luke 19:13).
Unless there is someone who can provide the proper training, we may be convinced that the “safety switch” is on, convincing us that our gun doesn’t work and developing strongholds in our mind over time (2 Cor 10:4). We may also allow the enemy to take the weapon from us (Luke 8:12) thinking he has the ability or authority to do so (1 Pet 5:8). Even if we have a “gun” and don’t load it with the promises of God, our threats will become empty (Acts 19:16) and we may start asking “if it be your will” prayers, or “God, YOU do it” prayers.
God can never change His plan! For I am the Lord, I do not change– Mal 3:6
God is not here to do things for us, but has provided more than enough “gun-power” and ammunition for us to be more than conquerors (Luke 10:19, Rom 8:37, Eph 6:11).
Gal 4:1 …the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all
2 Cor 3:7-11 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance…how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?…
Luke 19:13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, “Do business till I come.”
2 Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
Luke 8:12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takesthe word from their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
When we grow from babes in Christ, we learn not to pray for something we already have (Acts 1:8, Eph 1:3, 1 Pet 2:24) and learn not to pray for something God told US to do (Matt 10:8, 16:19, Mark 16:17-18, James 5:14).
For centuries, even after Jesus and the apostles; this word was stolen by the enemy to where the Word was not available to most, and left men as babes in Christ at best.
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places in Christ
1 Pet 2:24 … by whose stripes you were healed.
Matt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received,
freely give.
Matt 16:19 …and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth
will be loosed in heaven
Whatever reason you think that the power of God cannot function through you, will hinder you from your authority and can pop up in your mind and wipe you out (Prov. 23:7, Phil 3:15).
Prov 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…
Phil 3:15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if anything, you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you
Battlefield Training
When we have the proper tutors to show us how use the anointing, we increase the habit of casting down any high thing or thought against the knowledge of God (2 Cor 10:5) and resist all forms of opposition so that the enemy runs from us (James 4:7).
Like a parent that gives a child that look of; “don’t try me,” our confidence of the
power within us does not allow any reports of sickness or disease to trump what
we’ve heard (Is 53:1).
We don’t pray for others to be healed but use our weapons from God (2 Cor 10:4) to command the spirits of arthritis, blood issues, cancer, etc. to leave, and a command a blessing on others for healing, growing body parts and raising captives from the dead (Luke 10:20).
The bible gives us the vision (Prov 29:18) to set all captives free and whenever we speak the words of spirit and life (John 6:63) to an unfavorable situation, we stand on the word (Eph 6:13) with expectation.
Furthermore, we get used to victories (1 John 5:4), never backing down or to an inferior opponent. (1 John 4:4). When a child of God speaks, heaven listens, and hell obeys (Matt 18:18).
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Matt 16:19 …and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth
will be loosed in heaven.
2 Cor 10:5 Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
James 4:7 … Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Is 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds
John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are
spirit, and they are life.
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.
1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Matt 18:18 Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
It is not about the person you are praying for (the people that Jesus healed were not born again), but the spirits that humans are dealing with in a battle between two kingdoms (Acts 10:38, Eph 6:12).
Connected
Sometimes, you may end up using your faith if the person doesn’t have any (John 5:8, Acts 3:6). If someone dies on your watch, you know you can be like Jesus, knowing it’s not over, getting an even greater testimony, like the case with Lazurus (John 11:11, 15, 23).
Satan may have tried to hide the title deed of our faith (Heb 11:1) but as we contend for that same faith that was once delivered to the saints, it will change the lives of multitudes around us (Acts 3:6, Acts 5:16, Jude 1:3).
Eventually, there will be enough known virtue in you for people to see God’s glory in you (Col 1:27) to become a point of contact with your shadow, or a garment that you wore (Acts 5:15, 19:11-12).
With God and you, nothing shall be impossible! For with God, nothing will be impossible – Luke 1:37.
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
John 11:15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless, let us go to him,
John 11:23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
Col 1:27 …Christ in you, the hope of glory. Luke 1:37 For with God, nothing will be impossible.
