Only God can give you total acceptance, regardless of any wrong action against or wrong doing that you have ever done in your life. If a stranger knew every bad thought or sin that you’ve done, they may quickly judge you, butthe blood of Jesus covered our sins, past present and future before we were even born. Even though we may fall short and miss out on the benefits of listening to the Spirit, God’s unconditional love gives us comfort. Even if we turn our back on Him a season, He would run to us like the prodigal son (Luke 15:20).
We all have a desire to be accepted by God, parents, friends and acquaintances. We should also be willing to accept all (1 Pet 2:17) in the same way (John 13:35, 1 John 4:11, 12). The seeds we plant will come back to us (Eccl. 11:1).
The Greek word Charitoo means to indue with special honor, make accepted, be highly favored. It is used in Luke 1:28 when the angel told Mary; ‘You are highly favored’. It is also used in here in Ephesians 1:4-7 applying to us:
“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”
God has no favorites (Acts 10:34). Just as He instructed the angels through His messengers to Mary, we are also accepted to do greater works on His behalf. You indeed carry the Seed of the Word of God to produce children of God for His family (Luke 8:11). You are blessed to be a blessing, to add to the family (Matt 28:19, 20).
