Lesson 230 Battlefield Prayer

Having the God kind of Faith

Some people think they are in faith, but actually, there in hope. Hope is a goal setter. They have no scripture or promise to stand on, or think asking is like a dice roll. When we have faith, it gives substance to something (Mark 11:24, John 15:7, 8).

This study is based upon biblical experience. If our personal experience is different of that in the bible, we must choose the Word each time.

We need to let our vision be the same as God’s vision for us (Prov 29:18, James 1:22). For example; how long should we live? We may say 70 or 80, similar to Moses in Psalms, but God gives appointed time in Genesis (Ps 90:10, Gen 6:3). His promise (His Word) says He will satisfy us with a long life. It is up to us to search the word to find how to receive the promise (Ps 91:16). We already blessed, so when we pray, it is easier to expect the promises (Eph 1:4).

Jesus will marvel over your faith or unbelief (Matt 8:10, Mark 6:6). If we don’t believe the Word, unbelief will strip out all power. But when you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth we will be saved (Rom 10:9).

You can test yourself or someone who you are praying for and ask what do u think will happen when I pray? Unbelief makes faith void (Rom 4:14, Heb 4:2).

God gave us His word so that we can tell things how to go. We know there is a yes in heaven and many promises available (2 Cor 1:20).

A declaration or asking prayer is not a repeated prayer. It stays with God like the prayer of Zacheus; Gabriel told him; “Your prayer IS heard” We make our declaration and continue to give thanks, knowing the request is granted.

PRAYING (REQUIRING)

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, YOU shall ask what YOU will, and it shall be done unto YOU. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Ps 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard

2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

A declaration or asking prayer is not a repeated prayer. It stays with God like the prayer of Zacheus; Gabriel told him; “Your prayer IS heard” We make our declaration and continue to give thanks, knowing the request is granted.

Who are you?

  • YOU are a son (John 1:12, Rom 8:14) This is your true Heavenly Identity
  • YOU are here to Speak Life (Prov 18:21, 1 Cor 2:12) Our circumstances are voice activated Speak the accurate truth; If you say you’ll be there at 7:30 be there at 7:30  Don’t take your words lightly (Matt 5:37)
  • The Word gives us the right (James 5:17, 1 Cor 5:21) and says; We are righteous men
  • God’s plan is for us to have dominion over the earth (Gen 1:26, Psalm 115:16, Ps 2:6-8) God let the earth be subject to men
  • You are in charge: Whatever you bind (PERMIT) on earth, whatever you loose (UNTIE/SET FREE/LET GO) will be loosed in heaven (Matt 18:18, Luke 10:19, 20) Heaven will come in agreement! Not God, but you, He’s not in control of our choices
  • You have been given a spirit of Life                                                     not fear, worry, double mindedness or doubt                (Heb 11:6, James 1:6-8, Mark 11:22, 23)
  • Your spirit makes the Word come alive when you receive it (John 6:63)
  • Don’t forget you’re supernatural (Rom 8:6, Gal 5:16, 25, 1 Cor 2:9-14)
  • You are the righteousness of God, not because of your works, but His (2 Cor 5:21) COMMANDING

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Ps 115:16 The heavens… are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Matt 18:18 … Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

1 Cor 2:12 …we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

2 Cor 5:21 For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Jesus is the light of the world, and we are the light of the world as co-laborers. Jesus had to be anointed and so do we (Luke 4:18). The Word revealingly shows us how we are to be like Him (1 John 4:17, Phil 2:5, 6, 1 John 4:4). We all have the Holy Spirit, so when you believe, you will do the same works as Jesus did (John 14:12). He will finish what He started in you (Phil 1:6) and lead you through the process (John 16:13).

Who is God?

Faith begins where God, His characteristics and will is known. From the beginning, HE has been available, although man has continuously hidden himself with help from the enemy (Gen 3:8 / 2 Cor 4:4).

God has set up spiritual laws which include legal boundaries. He cannot have everything he desires (like all be saved), because of the unchangeable rules He set up. God is a Spirit who does not have the same function as the human beings who He designed the planet for. He gave the authority of this planet to beings with physical bodies. Since he gave the earth to human beings, and gave us dominion over all the earth, God left it up to us what would happen on this planet. People blame God and forsake Him because of the evil that happens, but Christians need to take the responsibility given to them to achieve God’s will.

God and His plan never changes. Heaven & earth would crumble and pass away before one tiny bit of God’s word on anything would fail (James 1:17 Mal 3:6)

Authority was invested in human beings. We were crowned with glory and were given rule over the works of His hands. If we messed up, God could not change his mind and make new plans. God rules over all, but does not control everything. If God could control us we would pay tithes all the time and never sin, etc. The only way God has control over this planet was for us to submit to him willfully. Of course, it is easier and requires no faith to believe that God will do everything for us. This makes some people believe that God is sovereign and does whatever He wants regardless of how we pray. This has people settling for hope (or wishing something would happen) instead of praying or speaking with faith. And then, there are those of us who have surrendered to God’s way and get promised victorious results over our enemy. This gives God the return on His investment that He planned for.

Jesus was not born in the lineage of man, but came direct from the Holy Spirit and was born from a virgin as prophesied. The virgin was made with earth substance, the Spirit, from spiritual permanent substance. Our faith paints this picture for us. In the gospels, Jesus, as a son of man, had the legal right to speak to things, situations and demons. He represented the Father and functioned legally with authority as a human being, doing things as “the son of man” (this phrase is mentioned 76 times in the gospels), since he was born of a woman. As a man, He was limited to what God originally gave human beings: dominion and authority. As a man, he also had to be anointed by the Spirit as we do, and showed the power of the anointing that was repeated by His disciples including us today (Acts 10:38).

Jesus gave up the ghost (a shadow of His super natural person without the full glory), or his body that had authority as a human being. We are His body now. We have the Spirit sent to us for manifestations and direction. Since He left the planet, it was expedient for Jesus to send the Spirit because now He doesn’t have a body with authority on earth. We have inherited that delegated authority now. Jesus, or any saint in heaven does not have the unchanged authoritative law that God only gave to people with physical bodies.

1 John 4:17 … because as he is, so are we in this world.

Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus..

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also..

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth

2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not…

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

God’s Character

  • God doesn’t Lie or change (Mal 3:6, Heb 6:17, 18, Psalm 89:34) A healer/provider always
  • He has no favorites (Acts 10:34) The authority He gave to his apostles are based on receiving
  • God wants to give you a fish, not a serpent (Luke 11:11, 12:32)
  • He is not an accomplice to the enemy (John 10:9, 10)
    • He doesn’t answer to ‘if it be your will’ prayers (Col 1:9 Eph 1:8, 9 Eph 5:17)
    • All promises are yes (1 Cor 1:20, 1 Cor 3:21, 22) Know His promises
    • There’s only one prayer that God said no, (2 Sam 12:14-16) Know His will. Read His Word.

  • If we know that even demons have gotten prayers answered when Jesus cast them into the swine, we can expect God to answer our call even more (Matt 8:32)

Sometimes, we lack confidence, but the power of prayer is in Him. Forget being self-conscious and look above. Our heart may condemn us, but God does not and knows all things (1 John 3:20-22). Have patience because your words stay in God’s presence (Luke 1:13).

We are not to focus on getting “bigger” faith, but for the faith that we do have to be consistent and unwavering. Maintain confidence for your reward (Heb 10:35, 2 Cor 5:7). Hold on the “the rope” of faith; meaning our words. It’s like having a draw string or cord that pulls the blessings from he unseen world to the observable world.

Heb 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: … which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation…

Ps 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Acts 10:34 … Peter – said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is

2 Sam 12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto you shall surely die… David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

1 John 3:20, 21 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

Luke 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for your prayer IS heard

Heb 10:35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight

Voice Activated

God gave us the bible to show us the authority we have. It is a well preserved, part of perfect plan to turn information to revelation (John 17:20, 21). We are carriers of healing, blessing and power (Ps 107:20, 138:2). Our vision must become the same as God’s vision of provision, lest we perish (Prov 29:18). The Lord’s spiritual business is done by how WE choose to use our words (Prov 18:21).

Even as we have a desire to give our children more than what we had when we were growing up, God wants us not only to have the same dominion as Adam, but with all power given to Him in heaven and earth, the Spirit has given us power and wants us to receive it to multiply His works to mankind (John 14:12).

Jesus said to have the God kind of faith (Mark 11:23, 1 John 5:14-15). You can have what you say or say what you have: or depend on your senses (Num 13:31-33, 14:8, 9, 22-24). The ten spies were good examples of this. We’re not here to face reality, but to create it, we’re here to put impossibilities to shame and glorify the plans of God! (Rom 4:17, 2 Cor 4:13)

Even after the Spirit was given, carnal Christians are directed by their attention on the physical world, feelings and unresolved pride and lusts of the world with desires that can never be satisfied (1 John 2:16).

God has already provided, you already have it. (Is 53:1, John 7:38, Is 43:12, Dan 3:17)  Our commandment is to believe. The bible is a mirror for us and asks: Where is your faith? (Mark 4:40)
You feed the multitudes (Matt 14:16, Ex 14:21, 26). You take control of your environment. Remember, we can Limit God because we are the decision makers for what goes on the earth (Ps 78:42)

  • Faith will not consult you of the things of God.
  • Faith doesn’t pay attention to our flesh, past failures and is not impressed with our limitations.
  • Faith will take you from I can’t; to I can.
  • Faith will place a demand on the gifts of the Spirit and produce expectations of greatness.
  • Faith knows not to get the answer, but knows you already have it. “we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor 2:16, Matthew 6:10)

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us

Ps 138:2 …for you have magnified your word above all your name.

1 John 5:14, 15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him

2 Cor 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Is 43:2 …When you walk through the fire, you will shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.

Dan 3:17 … our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

The process: God wants and will have a return on His investment

The Seed planted in you grows over time and we will see great results when we continue in the Word and pray in the Spirit. If you’re off, God will show you (John 16:13, Phil 3:15). Look forward to the promises happening through you. Don’t let your memories be bigger than your dreams. If there is more resistance from the enemy, continue in the faith without wavering. Daniels’ first prayer was answered by an angel immediately and afterwards, another prayer took three weeks to be answered. You already have patience as fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22, 23). The seed also thrives in loving and forgiveness (Mark 11:25). Your prayers and declarations will make a difference.

When praying for yourself:  See yourself healed, you already have permission. You already have it in the Spirit. Speak a blessing to yourself (1 Pet 2:24, Ps 103:1). Have no company with unbelievers. When praying for others: Imagine that crippled healed, decide ahead of time if that person is dead or asleep (Matt  9:24)

Phil 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
