“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: and if we understand that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him”. (1 John 5:14, 15)
Prayer is spiritual communication. Praying according to the will of God is knowing that God hears us each time and answers our petitions each time. God wants us to repeat His will back to him and be in agreement. His promises are not yea & nay, but always Yes and Amen (2 Cor 1:19,20). When we know His word (2 Tim 2:15), and live His word (James 1:23) in a life surrendered to God, we know His will and keep open the lines of communication. First we’ll see the answers in the Spirit and then see the manifestation in the natural. Because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Heb 11:6), we must seek His will and listen to the instruction of the Holy Spirit, who testifies (John 15:26)
or reminds us of the word of God (John 14:26) that’s already in us. The testimony of two is true{Spirit and Son} (John 8:17,18 1 John 5:6).
We must know God’s will before we pray, so we dont pray in fear, doubt or uncertainty ‘Lord if it’s your will...” We are to look for things in the Spirit to see if it works, not the flesh. If you need deliverance for your children; find a scripture for it (Jer 31:15,16/Is 54:13)
If you need healing; find a scripture for it (Ps 103:3, 1 Pet 2:24)
Meditate on them to give you confidence in prayer. You can start your petitions off with “Lord you said in your word”:It’s your pleasure that your servant prospers (Ps 35:27) and does not lack (Ps 23:1, 112:3) Nothing shall hurt me (Luke 10:19) I will live long and not die (Ps 91:16).
The truths in the bible are God’s will and desires for us (Deut 28:1-14). Jesus has already paid the price to have the door to God opened to us full of life and promises that will never be broken (John 10:9). You can only doubt or complain because of ignorance. Impossibilities are because of lack of knowledge or fellowship of the Spirit of God (Luke 1:37, 18:27). Possibilities are praying God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Be an imitator of God (Eph 5:1).
