Greek Lesson #19 Margarita and Sophia

Margarita [mar-gar-ee’-tace]: Pearl give up for her

Matt 13:45, 6 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of a great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

This man could not get this pearl until, he sold out for the kingdom. Don’t allow anything in your life to keep you from the kingdom of heaven. This is the safest and most peaceful place on earth and worth anything to get there. The key to this kingdom is total surrender.

Sophia [sof-ee’-ah]: Wisdom ask for her

James 3:17 the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
James 1:5 If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally..
Eph 1:8,9 He has abounded toward us in all wisdom and understanding; having made known unto us the mystery of His will
1 Cor 2:7 we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world
Col 1:28 .. teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus
Acts 6:10 They were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit that he (Stephan) spake

We are born again, from a kingdom above, gaining such an entrance to be
ministered to us in abundance to receive wisdom that is hidden to the natural man.

We are to act as apostles (one sent from God) to remove the veil that the god of this world (satan) had blinded those who don’t believe. For how can the imperfect hear except they hear the living word of God from one who is sent? We have received power from the Holy Spirit with wisdom for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. God is irresistible.

If you could give someone what you know; they would get rid of their pearls (earthly wisdom) and reach for the kingdom,

If you could give someone what you have; wisdom would help present them to Christ without spot or wrinkle.
