Lesson #166  INTENSITY

The difference of having an “it’s” coming faith and a “now” faith, is the formal use of time and tense. Our hope is repeatedly confirmed with our daily bread moving from expectancy to experience. We leave the condemnation of  the past and accept are calling for abundant life, from being a victim to being victorious. Since we can only live in the past or future in thought, the actions of our existence and well-being can only perform in the ‘now’.

The bible covers the past tense with the words; have, passed away, and were.

The present with be, is, are, and now.

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers
lusts and pleasures..
Eph 2:2,3  In time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince
of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: Among whom
also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

1Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are
justified
in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

2Cor 5:17 If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new.

Heb 2:14,15 “..through death he (Jesus) might destroy him that had the power of death, that is,
the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Rom 8:1 There is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Luke 17:21 …behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Heb 11:1 “Now” faith is the evidence…

Rom 8:37 …we are more than conquerors through him

1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in
you, than he that is in the world.

1 Peter 2:9,10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, …Which in time past were not
a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained
mercy.

Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith:
1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God..
2 Thess 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be
with you all.

We are no longer sinners, but saved saints.
The bible refers to saved people as saints: 330 times
unsaved people sinners: 240 times.
saved people sinners: 0 times

When you know you can live life without condemnation you have great confidence in prayer. (1 John 3:20) When we know who we are in Christ, it gives us a revelation of the authority we now have as His people. No person or devil from hell can convince us any differently. The absence of doubt or thinking that God’s word is not just another opinion results in immediate answers and miraculous deliverances. This is intense. This is God.

Now unto Him that is able to keep us from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 25, 26)
